Children’s Small Group:
This class is for children ages 4 through grade 5. Their curriculum explores the people, places, and objects of the Bible and compares them to modern–day life. Boys and girls learn that God desires our honor, and they learn how they can live a godly life that honors Him. As they dwell in Scripture, kids will discover the Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to people, and they learn to depend on His Word. Through videos, Bible readings, relevant stories, games, and workbook activities kids won’t just learn the Bible, they’ll experience it.
Youth Small Group:
Sunday morning studies vary to meet the growth of 6th-12th grade youth. To keep the youth intrigued, a variety of teaching styles including visional and hands on activities are used.
Adults Small Groups:
The adult class currently is studying the book “20 Small Group Bible Studies” by Dr. Rick Gillespie-Mobley on six topics: Walking in Faith (trusting God), God is Calling You (responding to God’s call in our lives), Overcome Mistakes (preventing our emotions from overwhelming us), Called to be Faithful (remaining true to God in a changing world), Turning Home into Something Better (building healthier facility relationships) and Raising the Bar (letting your life count for something).
Additional adult small group Bible Studies are offered throughout the year on week days. Rev. Dr. Karl Herman currently is leading the study “Christian History Made Easy” by Timothy Paul Jones. The group meets at Mont Alto UMC at 10 Main Street, Mont Alto on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00PM.
Children are important to God, and to us too. We recognize that God gives everyone special talents, including children. Therefore, Fetterhoff offers a variety of activities and opportunities for children to participate in worship and to grow in their love of Jesus.
