We believe that connection is a vital part of our daily walk with Christ. His Word teaches us that we are in this life together and were designed to need each other. Therefore, we strive to interact with others in and outside the church while learning and growing in the Spirit.

Through these interactions, we identify the needs of our neighbors and collaborate with others in our community to fulfill those needs while showing great amounts of hospitality, love, and grace and sharing the Good News of Salvation.

Sunday Morning Small Groups
(following the worship time)

Children’s Small Group:
This class is for children ages 4 through grade 5. Their curriculum explores the people, places, and objects of the Bible and compares them to modern–day life. Boys and girls learn that God desires our honor, and they learn how they can live a godly life that honors Him. As they dwell in Scripture, kids will discover the Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to people, and they learn to depend on His Word. Through videos, Bible readings, relevant stories, games, and workbook activities kids won’t just learn the Bible, they’ll experience it.

Youth Small Group:
Sunday morning studies vary to meet the growth of 6th-12th grade youth. To keep the youth intrigued, a variety of teaching styles including visional and hands on activities are used.

Adults Small Groups:
Adult Class: (Starting October 14, 2018)
“What Happy Couples Know”: Does it ever seem like every couple around you has it all together, while you can’t even agree on what’s for dinner? Wanna know the secret? In this 4-part series, Andy Stanley introduces three habits of happy couples. Part 1 – Nothing, Part 2 – It’s Mutual, Part 3 – Sometimes You Have to Throw Things and Part 4 – It’s a Choice. Adults of all ages are welcome.

Additional adult small group Bible Studies are offered throughout the year on week days. Rev. Dr. Karl Herman currently is leading the study “Christian History Made Easy” by Timothy Paul Jones. The group meets at Mont Alto UMC at 10 Main Street, Mont Alto on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00PM.
