We believe that connection is a vital part of our daily walk with Christ. His Word teaches us that we are in this life together and were designed to need each other. Therefore, we strive to interact with others in and outside the church while learning and growing in the Spirit.

Through these interactions, we identify the needs of our neighbors and collaborate with others in our community to fulfill those needs while showing great amounts of hospitality, love, and grace and sharing the Good News of Salvation.

Sunday Morning Small Groups
(following the worship time)

Children’s Small Group:
This class is for children ages 4 through grade 5. Their curriculum explores the people, places, and objects of the Bible and compares them to modern–day life. Boys and girls learn that God desires our honor, and they learn how they can live a godly life that honors Him. As they dwell in Scripture, kids will discover the Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to people, and they learn to depend on His Word. Through videos, Bible readings, relevant stories, games, and workbook activities kids won’t just learn the Bible, they’ll experience it.

Youth Small Group:
Sunday morning studies vary to meet the growth of 6th-12th grade youth. To keep the youth intrigued, a variety of teaching styles including visional and hands on activities are used.

Adults Small Groups:
The adult small group presently is studying “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus,” a chronicle of Dr. Nabeel Qureshi’s personal journey from Islam to Christianity. Dr. Qureshi was formerly a devout Muslim who was convinced of the truth of the gospel through historical reasoning and a spiritual search for God.  The group meets in the room behind the sanctuary, 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM.  Adults of all ages are welcome.

Bible Studies

Additional adult small group Bible Studies are offered throughout the year on week days. Kim Reed currently is leading an in-depth study “Patriarchs of Genesis: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph.” Learn answers to the questions: Who were the Patriarchs? Why are they significant? How were they unique to their society and place in Biblical history? What is their relationship to Christ’s teachings and Christianity? What relevance do their lives have for us in the 21st Century?

This in-depth study is free to the public and guests are welcome to attend at anytime throughout the year. For more information, please call the Church Office (717-749-5064) or attend any session.

The series takes place from November 29, 2018 through May 23, 2019 on Thursdays from 2:00 – 3:30 PM or 6:30 – 8:00 PM. The group meets at Mont Alto UMC at 10 Main Street, Mont Alto.

Children’s Ministry

Children are important to God, and to us too. We recognize that God gives everyone special talents, including children. Therefore, Fetterhoff offers a variety of activities and opportunities for children to participate in worship and to grow in their love of Jesus.
